Engagement: Greg & Kaitlyn
On Sunday, we met up at the University of Guelph for an engagement photo session. We were there in the hunt for interesting old buildings and nice, colourful fall trees. It was definitely a hunt.
We walked around the campus constantly searching for bits of red, orange, yellow without a whole lot of luck, but when we found some (even though it wasn’t much) it was a bit of a celebration.
We had a lot of fun with you guys; we’re definitely looking forward to your wedding in June!
Cedarstone Farm’s Fall Schooling Show
On Saturday, September 18th, Shoot the Thrill Photography was once again invited to photograph the Fall schooling show at Cedarstone Farm. With a weather forecast that was less then positive, the rain did manage to hold off for most of the day and only started to come down harder for the last couple of events.
Congratulations to all of the participants; it was a great day and we hope to see you again next year.

Trisha & Brian’s Wedding
On Saturday, September 11, 2010, Trisha Fleming and Brian Walter tied the knot at the Slovenian Association Sava in Breslau, Ontario. The weather was nice, dry, and sunny for the ceremony and for the portraits; the rain didn’t start until the indoor reception had started.
We had a wonderful day with you and we hope you had a great getaway in Niagara. Congratulations you two!
Happy 1st Anniversary, Meg & Chuck!
Looking through my draft blog posts on my computer this morning, I realized that I never posted photos from the wedding one year ago today.
Meg & Chuck were married on September 12, 2009 at a cottage on a lake near Georgian Bay. The weather was wonderful, the skies were blue and clear. I don’t think anyone could have asked for more favourable weather that day.
Congratulations on your first year of marriage, Meg and Chuck, we wish you many years of happiness to come!
Sarah & Adrian’s Wedding
On Saturday, August 28, 2010, exactly 2 years after they met, Adrian and Sarah were married at Savannah Golf Links in Cambridge, Ontario. It was a sunny, clear, hot summer day without a cloud in the sky.
We had a wonderful day at the wedding. We enjoyed being outdoors for the ceremony, we got to watch the bride and groom dance down the aisle, and we only encountered a tiny bit of danger while shooting photos at the ruins on the golf course where we had to be careful to avoid a couple of stray balls. All in all, the day was a lot of fun.
Congratulations to you both, and thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day!
50th Wedding Anniversary
Last weekend, we had the pleasure to meet Ernie and Julie who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with their family and friends. We met up at Rockway Gardens in Kitchener for a family portrait session before the party.
The entire family (all 22 of them) was great to photograph. The session was definitely a fun one for us. It’s so nice to see a family that can joke around together and have a good time.
Congratulations on 50 years of marriage; we wish you many more fun-filled years together.
Melissa & Justin’s Wedding
Melissa and Justin were married on Saturday and Ryan and I had the privilege to photograph the event.
The day started at Melissa and Justin’s house in Elmira, followed by the ceremony next to the covered bridge in West Montrose (aka “Kissing Bridge”), and then the reception in Floradale in the gorgeous back yard of Melissa’s parents.
Ryan and I had a lot of fun photographing the wedding. It’s not every day that you have a bride who’s willing to climb into a tree and even declines our offer of putting blankets in the tree to protect her dress!
Congratulations, Melissa and Justin! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
